Torn tail, half of ear missing, bleeding throat and a swollen head. That is how this young puppy came into our care from the city pound of Miskolc...

The Second Chance Foundation in Miskolc has asked for our help and as soon as we saw the pictures we just couldn't say no. He was transfered to us on the same night and he was immediately taken to the Juhász small animal clinic where his condition was stabilized. He had to have an emergency operation because his tail was septic and part of his ear had to be amputated. Judging from his injuries he was probably attacked by other dogs. He almost died on the streets in Miskolc.

After a few days he is doing better. His condition is stable. He doesn't have a fever and we were able to bring him to our hospital ward in the animal home. We gave him the name Bariton.

His is a young male dog who will most likely be middle sized when he grows up. He hasn't lost his faith in the human race and he loves people and he tries to wag his leftover tail when he sees people.

We are looking for a family who is responsible and is aware of the hardships of bringing up a puppy and is ready to accept that there will be accidents and losses in the flat or in the garden. We are looking for someone who will not only love him when he is a puppy but will love him, when he is teenager, adult and also when he gets old.

He is chipped, his vaccination program will start as soon as his condition allows and the future owner has to continue it. The future owner is obligated to neuter him and we will check it.
