😪 Merlot came from Sopron in a terrible condition. He is at our vet's clinic and being thoroughly examined. One thing is for sure that he is still mad at the world and mostly at people. We are not surprised at all. We know it will take time and a lot of effort to rehabilitate him but we will do everything in our power to show him that he can trust people and that life is good.

Merlot came into our care about one month ago in a horrible condition. Remember he was given up by his owner in this condition...
Look now, how his skin is looking much better. It is not inflammed anymore and his fur has started to grow back. His soul is still in pieces and we are approching it with baby steps. We are happy that he is now doesn't spend the whole day in his house but to be honest the warm weather helps too. He doesn't hide when we talk to him and he already took the medication that we hid in the food and put on the spoon. We won't give up!
His treatment and recovery will be long and we still have to do some tests.
We would like to thank his carers Dóri, Timi and Berni for their patience, professionalism and presistence!
