We have received a shocking video last week about a dog in a village called Tállya at an abandoned house. The sender who asked for our help said that the dog was in this terrible condition at least a week. We couldn't say no and one of our volunteer worker Balázs Andrea jumped into his car and went to get the dog. We have kept in contact with Balázs and have discussed that instead of coming back to Budapest he should take the dog to the nearest vet because of his condition. He was taken to a clinic in Nyíregyháza where he received emergency care and his condition was stabilized. His body is full of wounds and purulence. He can't stand up. He was given the name Forest from Forest Gump and our motto is Run, Forest, Run! and we hope that he will do so again.

He is at the Délpesti Állatgyógyászati Központ és Sebészeti Centrum vet clinic and in the capable hands of our miracle worker Dr. Boda and his team. He was examined and it looks like that he was not ran over but attacked by another dog.

He is a bit shy. We are looking for a family for him where he will be treated as a full member and where he will be loved for as long as he lives.

After he heals, he will be chipped, vaccinated, neutered and only the he will be up for adoption.
