Ágas Ágota was found under a bush by animal loves and they immediately noticed that she is sick. Her head and legs are oedematous, hardly has any fur on but besides that she is nursing 6 of her couple of days old puppies.

As soon as we saw the pictures we couldn’t say no even though we are full of sick dogs. Thanks to the „Together for the Animals” Organization in Debrecen they took the family to a safe place and about a day later they arrived to our animal home. Unfortunately 1 puppy died in the meantime. The others seems to be okay. Since she is nursing the babies the treatment is very difficult. We have consulted with our vets and for now their best interest is to stay together and let Ágota nurse her babies. Until then she will receive very mild treatment that won’t harm her puppies. She also started to cough so she is also treated for that.

Ágota was born in January, 2016 and she is a big Dachshund mix female. She is very friendly, sweet and cooperative.
She will soon be vaccinated, neutered and then we will e looking for a family for her. She can't be adopted as just a garden dog. We are looking for a family for her where she can be a full member. She has suffered so much in her short life and she deserves to be happy!
