His name is Peet...
He is an 11 month old bullterrier like male who had an owner and he was kept like you see on the pictures. He was kept like trash, on a 1 meter long chain in Budapest in the 17th district. He is now in our care and he was taken to the vet immediately.
He lived like this for months and through out the winter. He is very sick, he has wounds all over his body and they are bleeding and inflammed. He hardly has any fur on him. He has an edema on his head, his ear is inflammed and stinks really bad. His face looks like an old dog’s but he is still a youngster with white teeth and with beautiful eyes.
The neighbors noticed him and they immediately started to get help. They started the official procedure and they started to seek help from shelters.
He loves people but living on a short chain for months had an affect on his behavior. When he was freed from it he didn’t want to stop for a minute, he is interested in everything and needs to learn good manners.
His road to recovery will be a long and hard one. He was examined and now he is taking medication for now. He is staying in the recovery area in Noah animal home.
Keep your fingers crossed for him!
He can’t be adopted as just a garden dog. We are looking for a family for him where he can be a full member. Where he can participate at the everyday activities of the family. He suffered so much already and he deserves a loving owner.
After he heals, he will be castrated and vaccinated and then he can be adopted.
