If you have questions about Cheech, please send an e-mail to !
Cheech was born in May of 2016 who was saved with his 2 brothers by a family who lives 300 km from Budapest. Sadly the others didn’t survive and the cause of death is probably poisoning.
The animal lovers who have found him, wanted to take him to a safe place so they called us. We asked them to take him to a vet who can castrate him before his arrival and they did that. To our surprise the vet didn’t do what we asked. He ligated the goat's testicles with a rubber band at the root and that rubber band cut into his flesh and it already started infecting. We have heard about this tchnique that is still being used with goatlings. It is very shocking and inhumane. Using this methode with a grown goat is animal cruelty. He must have had a lot of pain.
Our vet examined him and after one day starvation he castrated him properly and took care of the wound. The operation was risky because Cheech was thin, his scrotum was infected and goats are so sensitive to shock!
Our farm yard animals can’t be adopted but you can support them through virtual adoption on his datasheet here:
I want to virtually adopt him!More pictures
