If you have questions about Pünkösd Mama, please send an e-mail to !
We received news from Mezőkeresztes, which said that a dachshund mix dog had given birth to three puppies in an abandoned house’s yard. A woman saw that her neighbor throw the puppies into a bush. She took them out but the mother dog was very shy and she couldn’t catch her. We took out a trap with her puppies and we could catch her in an hour.
They arrived on 14th May 2016 to our shelter that’s why they got the Pünkösd (Pentecost) family name. The puppies were born in March 2016. Now we don’t know their final size they might be small sized. We don’t know anything of their family except their mother but they are very friendly, playful and well-socialized.
Pünkösd mother become more calm and nice after she got her babies back. We could took her out of the trap box and we saw that she knew that everything is all right, they are in good hands now.
Probably she was born in around 2011, she is a 9 kg weight dachshund mix. She is very nice, friendly and well-socialized. Currently she raises her puppies as a good mom, but we can enjoy her kindness for some minutes if we say some nice words to her.
She needs a home where she’ll be full-fledged member of the family, we don’t give her for those who wants to keep her only in the garden.
She is chipped, we started her vaccination program and she can be adopted after the sterilization.
