Tosca was born in 2010 and she is a pure-bred germanshepherd female. She came to our shelter on 26th of April 2016. She has been through a lot because her previous owner assulted her on a regular basis. Why? Because if she stepped through the gate that was carelessly left open by the owner then she was beaten, if she just turned her head towards the chickens she was beaten, if her owner was in a bad mood she was beaten. Poor dod lived her life chained and beaten...
She became pregnant too because of the owner's irresponsibility.
And we still say she was lucky because she didn't become the victim of indifference. The neighbors couldn't let it go and when the owner started beating the dog with the shovel they stepped up and took the dog from him.
They were not afraid, didn't make up excuses and they didn't wait for others to do something. They joined hands and stood up for the right of a dog. After taking the dog they contected us and she came to our shelter.
She was immediately taken to our vet where it was determined that indeed she is pregnant. In this case we terminated the pregnancy.
The other examination showed no permanent damages to her body and it looks like her soul has not been damaged.
Tosca is a very lovely dog. She is well socialized dog and maybe before her hell she might have had a nice family. She is friendly withe people. She is a bit smaller then the avarage german shepherd.

She is vaccinated, chipped and neutered. She can only be adopted by a family where she will be treated as a full member.
