Blind and Old dog is looking for his original owner.

This lovely old methuselah was found in 20 November 2013 near the Ferihegy speedway around KÖKI. He was literally toddled with shaking legs near the speeding cars and our volunteer needed to block the traffic for a while to gather the dog. He must be very, very old – his hind legs were shaking, he was strikingly tired and had scaled eyes so we took him to the doctor immediately. But amidst of all of these, he was a remarkably neat dog with good scent and condition and surprisingly pulled a collar and a leash after him. Unfortunately no chip, but we are not even surprised at this – sometimes the vets themselves talk the owners out of chipping the old dogs. But we see blind, senile, deaf lost old ones who just slip through a carelessly unclosed door or just somehow get into trouble and unable to find their way home.

We named him Mohave as he has been sleeping in the warm all the time since he is with us. The original owner did not claim him so we are looking for a new owner for Mohave, who is neutered, vaccinated and chipped.
