We have another hopeless case. His name is Gumó a puppy from the private shelter in Csongrád. Probably He had a trauma at birth or shortly after because one of his front leg is just hanging lifeless. It is most likely that this leg has to be amputated. The bigger problem is that his other front leg is deformed and he can not carry his current weight. Hopefully this can be cured. We will know more after the medical examination.
Otherwise Gumó is full of life, playful and He chews shoes in the same way as a healthy puppy.

We went to see a orthopedic specialist and we have received good and bad news as well.
The bad news is that the leg, which hangs lifeless, has to be amputated. This surgery can not be carried out before He reaches the age of 3 months but the doctor said we should wait until He will be 4-5months old.
The good news is that the deformed leg will straighten out after the amputation. It only became so curved because of the uneven load.
Gumó is living the everyday life of a puppy. He runs, plays, chews and doesn’t pay attention to his defect because this normal to him.

Thanks for everyone who supported us. We don’t have to worry about his health since He can live a full life with 3 legs.
What he needs now is a loving and responsible family who will take care of him for the rest of his life!
