Dia is about 9-10 years old Spicc female mix. She has been living at the shelter since Feb 2004. She was found and brought to the shelter but to our surprise, nobody was looking for her. What’s even more surprising is that prospective owners kept away from her which is completely inexplicable since she is a friendly, trustworthy, quiet dog and adjusts easily to humans and animals alike.



We accepted that Dia will be our dog for ever. She in a lucky situation because She has 2 foster Mothers (Évi and Niki). They come every week to visit her, take her for a walk and to bring her delicious treats.



Unfortunately Dia is unlucky in other ways too. She has serious health issues. Couple of years ago we noticed a fast growing tumor, which was cut out by Our vet. The operation was successful and Dia's wound was healing quickly.
Everything was ok for about a year but then the tumor came back and She had to have another operation. The tumor was sent to histology and it turned out to be a malignant tumor. This tumor tends to come back time after time at the same spot and grows rapidly too.

We have consulted with our vet and He recommended to speak with a Oncologist.
