The Schnauzer Rescue Project

The Schnauzer rescue team has been re-homing abandoned schnauzers that were thrown out to the street or left at animal control offices, since 2008.

Unfortunately there are many more schnauzers in need than the project can handle and re-home; it is clear that the existence of a separate project for the rescue of this breed is more than sufficiently justified.

The project operates with temporary housing: if possible (and if their health is sound), the dogs find temporary homes at our volunteers, as a family environment helps resocialization. The dogs receive the obligatory medical treatments and vaccination.

The project will have its own website soon; until then you can find the schnauzers available for adoption here.
