This is Blue, Meadow and Willow, the Three Blind Mice - well, not mice, but kittens ❤
Our volunteer found them in the beginning of September; they were only 2 weeks old at the time, their eyes just opening - or they would have been, had it not been for the brutal infection that made 5 of the 6 eyes to lose their sight. 😢 Of course it wasn't just their eyes, they were in a horrible condition altogether.

Thanks to our baby-kitten-care-giver volunteers, a team of devoted vets, lots of formula and love, they're getting better all the time - they are behind their age of course, but they're already eating without help, using the litter box and having enormous cat-fights. Everything is not yet perfect, particularly one of the baby girls is still often ill, but it looks like we have reason to be hopeful.

Unfortunately, as they grow, the gloomy outlook is proving to be true; it's almost certain all 3 kittens be blind. But we know very well that a blind cat can live a perfectly full and happy life.

The kittens' treatment is not over, they are weekly visitors at the vet's, and when they grow up, they will almost certainly need eye surgery, so we need all the help we can get. Please help us take care of the kittens.
