As the saying goes, young ones only get older, but since I have reached a certain age, I decided to start staunchly to believe in this. What is sure however, is that our kindergarten and nursery kitties are filled with a huge amount of extraordinary enchantment , because they have transformed in a whim from scrawny little mice into cat like creations. (sorry about this, night time nannies, who surely did not take the three hourly feedings so easily…)
The important thing is, that now we can breathe easy, a really easy time is to come in the life of the kittens, when it is strictly forbidden to turn or even sigh under the bedcovers because a small predator will immediately be upon you with a hundred claws. You don’t have to get scared it is not some kind of a swamp ghost which is running on the kitchen counter covered in green goo, but a little snotty kitty which has freshly emerged from the spinach. In agriculture, this is the time for autumn sowing, cutting, thinning, we can be sure that our soon to be grown up kittens will solve this problem too…

Thankfully this month too, many of you thought that it is impossible to go to sleep without a purring little pillow. Those of our volunteers who suffer from sleeping disorders can still rest assured they can still count cats before falling asleep, let’s take a look at the newly arrived little lambs:



Belfi, Bandi, Brünhilda, Sumi, Sir Lancelot, Fürgönc



Odett, Melitta, , Mija, Csipesz, Deja-vu -all have masters, Sumi, Brutálka, Fekebors, Feketeribizli, Feketekávé, Feketepont

Here come those who were lucky enough to find their dream master. We accept no complaints after leaving the cash register, so please put up with the cat being too purry, too nice, too cuddly, too beautiful…







I would really love a moglog without the next part! But, sadly, this month too, there were the ones we lost. This is always very painful, either because we had to say goodbye to a long loved friend, or because we had to let a little life go which was just in fact beginning.


Kicsi

Kicsi cat came to us with the troupe of Auntie Rézi in August from a waiting list. Up until now, the cat was so afraid of everything that it could hardly be seen. He could not be listed among the to be adopted cats either. Then trouble came: Kicsi became ill and jaundiced one afternoon. He was immediately taken to the vet, and our vets tried to make him drink and eat for a week, but Kicsi decided that life on this Earth was not worth living, and life was not worth fighting for. Our dear little treasure, we are heartbroken that you could not make it, and we trust, that you are happier over the rainbow bridge :(((

From the saddest column, let’s move on to the happiest one, here come those who lined up in huge queues for complaints after leaving the cash register (purrs too much, too nice, too cuddly, too beautiful…) that is to say, here come the reports from the masters:

Teca
Hi,
I thought you would be happy to see a few photos of Teca who now feels right at home. She has started to become friends with Ryan, she is not that scared anymore, she loves to be stroked, she purrs and loves to follow me!
A big thank you to you for her!

Samu
Samu [at us he’s called Pingu] is a miracle. He converted me into a cat fan. He is like a tiny, plush purring bear cub. He is beautiful, tame, and very, very kind. He has nothing to do with the stereotype that cats are selfish, and are only with humans for being taken care of. I have altogether two cats, two dogs, and two chinchillas, but Samu is at the centre of the bunch, he loves everyone, cuddles up to everyone, and mollycoddles everyone. ( I have to admit though that there is no discord between other members of the group either, but I do know that if one of my friends brings his pet along, that pet has to be introduced to Samu at first, because then I know that everything will be perfect.)

Conan
Hi! 
It has been a long time since I have written a situation update. Conan, or as we call him here Cicó, a name he listens to, is well. You only have to call and he flies to you.
He sleeps in my bed every night, follows me everywhere, and yesterday finally, the ice has broken, because he started to knead me. (it is not as if I was underweight though) 
I’m very grateful to you and Noé for having saved the life of this wonderful creature. He is an incredibly intelligent and clingy phenomenon, who is kind to everyone.
He gets along well with my bunny Minnie too, though Mimi is the boss and always gets her way, though there is a kiss now and then between them. He loves home made liver paté and cooked heart, his fur has grown back and is shiny
So in the end, I’d like to thank you again for choosing us. My 27 year old wish came true in this cat!

Kocka and Cina
The cats have been with us now for more than a month so I thought I’d drop you a few lines about them and send you a few pictures:))
Kocka is now totally hand tame, he sits more and more in our lap, and lets himself be stroked, but not by strangers of course…... As for his fur it is rather patchy, poor dear, especially on his head. So far the treatment he received brought no improvement. The vet cannot handle him, and cannot hold him down, but then neither can I… yesterday he was up for a shot, would the vet have been able to inoculate him…not to mention his ears, he did not allow the vet to take a look at those either, let alone clean them. How were you able to hold him down for treatments?
Otherwise he is so very sweet, he loves to love. Sometimes he is naughty though that’s when he gets a bit crazy and refuses to leave Cina in peace, who runs away from him…
Cina is some kind of a wonder, she plays a lot with just about anything now eg: a sock, a flip-flop, the sleeve of a sweater…and of course she eats a whole lot, it doesn’t matter to her what kind of food it is. She first eats her own portion, then does the dishes after Kocka  Kocka is a very fussy eater…
We have a good laugh when she eats, she makes all these grunting noises while eating, just like a little pig, and that is how she eats too. We even got her a tray, but she rather takes the food out of the tray and eats off the floor…scattering food about.
Her fur looks great and she has become rotund. She cannot be taken into one’s lap, she does not like that, but she can so off her love too, at those times we are dripping with saliva…
All in all I think they feel right at home:)))

Lolli
I think that Lolli will marvel at life throughout her entire life. The world’s most affectionate cat must be of some kind of mixed blood, because her tail is thicker and her fur is much longer than those of her little mates.

L'Amour and Rizi-Bizi
Hi!
Herewith I attach a few pictures of the cats. My beautiful grey is now called Cicero, he was named L’amour at your shelter. At first he was very talkative, now he has a little less to say.
The ugly leg implant and jaw wiring incident due to a car accident is now a thing of the past, it is just his broken off eye-tooth which needs attention.
We have left Rizike’s name as it was Rizike (Rizi-Bizi) because she does not listen to this name since her birth. Our little anti-social cat has changed a lot.
She has learned a lot and in teaching her big cat also played a helping hand. She already knows that the grass is edible, and furniture needs to be left alone, she uses the cat scratch pole now, and endures stroking on a minimum level, she even purrs. Her old frizzy fur is replaced by a new soft one. So far, she has only caught a dragonfly and is not really a skillful hunter, which I don’t really mind at all.
She has a good sense for choosing the right sleeping place…
Both cats have fantastic personalities, thank you for letting them be with me…

Lucifer
Luci eased up very quickly! He feels right at home, does not hide away anymore, is never out of sight, and he always adores it when he is stroked and loved, he is very sweet as he purrs loudly, and immediately throws himself on his back, he even salivates after longer stroking. Luci nagyon gyorsan felszabadult!! We are very happy to have him with us, and we love him very much! This morning he was peeping out of the window…

Csonti
I’m writing in connection with Csonti. I would like you to know that he has had some mobility problems since some time. I had him X-rayed, and according to Dr Boda the screws in the implant became loose. The vet had them removed because they were expelled.Despite this the vet is not quite sure yet whether it was this which really caused the mobility problems, or whether Csonti is suffering from idiopathic neurosis. This will be clear in a week. I will definitely let you know. Otherwise Csonti is fine the little rascal is treated like a king

Penge
Hi Angels! Just a quick hello from me, because I haven’t sent you a picture of myself in a long time. Penge.

Cicmók
Bronkesz moved in with me from your place two years ago today, so I thought I’d drop in. Everything is fine, what’s more, we moved to the 7th district in May and since then live with a table, some suitcases/boxes due to different wall maintenance reasons and bureaucracy. My furnitures and stuff are waiting in a rented storage shed for the flat to be finished.His low stimuli surroundings made him somewhat unhappy in the beginning, but I have since made enough of an unholy mess everywhere to make it feel like the flat was not empty. He plays a lot, he feels at home, (and can keep himself occupied). He does have a balcony here on which he can sunbathe, there are cats and dogs nearby (they get along) 
He does keep us busy non-stop, he knows well when he is already too much and when he is welcome, we are totally on the same wavelength and this is great for both of us, I could not imagine a better flatmate or pet than him.






Our temporary masters who are constantly troubled by sleep disturbances, keep track of their little charges, and give us an update:

Belfi
Well, the feeling that when you go home, and bend down to stroke a loudly meowing blind cat, who immediately jumps in your neck, and cuddles up in your hand is undescribable.He has been with me for 3 days, we have spent 1 day at Dr Boda’s where he was a bit „tortured” but survived.
I really have to pay attention, because he follows me everywhere, he came after me to the bathroom as if there was no problem with his eyesight, and he was right under my feet. He is so sure of my scent now, that he does not now trip over my shoes either. He cuddles up to dogs, but as yet, is still wary of other cats. Yesterday I quarrelled with him a little too, because he attacked Szaffi, who could only wonder what this was about, while Belfi growled at him(I let him do that) then he started to swish out at Szaffi. Well then he got a little rap on the head, he should know his place after all, and he, who attacked, was the one who minded it.
A kutyákhoz bújik, a macskákkal még nem teljesen barátkozott meg. After being cranky for half a minute, he started to rub himself against me…He is very talkative, is never silent, he just chatters and chatters.........
