We warmly welcome all dear MogLog fans! We have had eventful weeks. we could help some moggies, we have housed a 10-day old baby as well, but it is good news that several of our protégés can spend Christmas at home. Fortunately many people have thought of the cats remaining at our place and a lot of donations have been given at Noah’s Christmas. Let’s see the newcomers now.
Menyus (Melchy) is a little tomcat of around 5 months of age. He is a very friendly, kind cat. He follows everybody; you can’t get rid of him. – Already adopted!
Bogyesz and her brother Mogyesz are young cats who have arrived from the waitlist. At the moment they are shy, but hopefully they will get relaxed soon. They have been tested for leucosis, the result of which is NEGATIVE. They are waiting for their owners.
Boci (Moo-cow) is a tomcat who was on the waitlist. He is calm, kind, cuddling, purring, cute and playful, but at the same time if he is not playing, is having a rest peacefully and is not naughty. He likes the company of humans and cat. He is fond of children, and would get on well with dogs. He is a dream cat!!! At the moment he is staying at a foster carer’s place.
Hótesók (Snow siblings): 2 tiny, 3-month old gorgeous white kittens are waiting for their dream owner. They have been given vermifuge and flea repellent. They eat everything, and they are purring, playful kitties. – They have a prospective owner! !
4 tiny, 10-day old kittens have also arrived, who would have been doomed to death if Cat Rescue had not taken them in. They were put outside in the cold without their mother. A foster carer is raising them. They are doing fine.
The ones who have been adopted recently:
DáriuszPici (Tiny)LukréciaTitániaDömper (Dumper) the giant cat his owners fell in love with, and wanted only him. The slimming diet of the cat has started with medical surveillance.:)
GigiMenyus (Melchy)Marco has been housed by a foster carer
and Domino is moving for the hundredth time because he was aggressive with the previous foster carers and they returned him, but he has received a new chance. We keep our fingers crossed!
Our Törcsi cat has been operated on, and he is doing fine. He is recovering at the moment. We thank everybody for their help.
We want WINTER foster carers!
Spend Christmas with a cat, since at the feast of love a velvet-pawed creature is an indispensable accessory. The sight of a cat purring in front of the fireplace sheers up the feast and puts some romance in dull weekdays. Do not despair if there is no fireplace in your home, because a radiator will do just as well. Let’s not forget the entertaining sight of the cat climbing up and hanging on the Christmas tree,
and we recommend rubber decorations and a firmly fastened tree for this maneuver. We are looking for foster carers for our cats not liking cold weather for the WINTER PERIOD, from now on at least until the middle of March. We would like the cats that can be seen in the picture to be housed as indoor cats during the winter frosts! Information about the cats is available at the e-mail address macskamentes@noeallatotthon.hu.
On top of them, many of our cats are “stuck”, and have been living in our shelter for a long time. They really want to spend Christmas at home. Here they are, maybe the dream owner will find them before the holidays.
We have received some reports on our former protégés… :)
GraceHi,
I am sending some recent pictures of the Duchess. In one of the pictures she is sleeping with one of her big brothers, the size difference can be seen well!:-) In some of the pictures you will see a big light-blue plush animal. It is a big plush mouse and grace baby loves sleeping next to it. There it is worth looking at how small grace still is compared to the plush. You can see that she is sleeping in most of the pictures; otherwise I cannot take a photo of her. She is running in zigzag like a barn-swallow, and when you are taking a photo a big blur is the only thing that can be seen. :-)
Love,
Andi

At home
Horatio, who was adopted a year ago and is a German citizen now:)
Hello Noah,
Horcsi baby is all right, Ati could perform in a circus with him, because the cat hangs on his words so much! He behaves as if he was a dog, and he has accepted Ati as the pack leader. We, others (Viktor, Ati’s younger son and myself) can be his servants, and we also are his victims, because for a good part of the day he is amusing himself by hunting for our legs. Well, this is the only game he enjoys alone!
Since we live in a loft, and he cannot go out into the street, he walks on the roof several times a day. Poor thing, he wants to go out so badly, he would be such an active moggie, sometimes I feel sorry for him being confined in an apartment, but in fact he is doing great, if I give it a second thought!
As for food, he is very choosy, he eats cat food only, but the make matters. If we want to give him some cold cuts, first he smells it, then he jumps backwards with a start, and then, even when he accepts it, he mostly uses it as a toy, and later we can fish it out from beneath the fridge and the cupboards. In the evening Ati arrives with his friends, with whom he plays a lot. They are the shoelaces of Ati’s working shoes, which he adores. He leaves the other shoes alone, but not this one pair! In the mornings he still cuddles up adorably. This is the only time I can pat him, but Ati can achieve this at any time of the day!!!
For the present, that’s all in short. I am also attaching a picture, and you can see this grown-up guy, who has become a gorgeous cat! And I have found out his Christmas present: it will be a remote-controlled mouse!
Love,
Ildikó, Viki and Ati

Alma and Csiribi
Dear Cat Rescue Girls,
Alma and Csibi have been spayed. Both cats are doing fine now, that is they are recovering. They have got over the first shock, and they are not angry at us anymore, they eat and drink, and feel all right. Csibike, the beloved one, is picking her wound, the collar is on the shelf as a determent, I hope we can come through the recovering phase without it. The stitches are going to be removed after Christmas.
The former Noah’s Tiny Ones have become real members of our family, and I think they are doing great here. Of course the strict restrictions have been abolished … they are in-bed kitties. Once I woke up to see both cats lying on the back of my husband, purring. :)
Love,
Andi

BingoHi Noah,
I am sending a photo of Bingo. JHe has put on some weight since the last time you saw him... Needless to say, he is spoiled. Now he is sleeping in my lap, he tremendously demands attention, but his voice can hardly be heard if something does not happen in the way he wanted. Fortunately they re more or less best friends with other cat, they run and play together a lot. And they also sleep together most of the time. :)
TitániaTitánia (now she is called Sári=Sarah) is doing fine, she is still a bit reserved, she needs some time to get relaxed. She spends most of the day behind the bed, but in the evenings she ventures out, explores, meows for food, and can be bribed with a bit of chicken liver.:) She used the cat litter without any problems even at the first time. We are giving her a couple of days to get used to the new place and the new owner, then she goes to the vet’s for a check-up and vermifuge, but as far as it seems, everything is all right with her. I will send you some pictures!
Kyra at home
about whom the foster carer has sent some news.
Dear Noah volunteers,
here are the pictures of Szuszi I promised. He is very well at his new owner’s place!
His ears were inflamed when he arrived, but he is being given ear drops regularly, and they are getting better. He is doing fine; he is getting to know the new toys and the scratching post Ági, the new owner has bought him. They are in love, they sleep together, play together, etc. We are very happy with it!:-) Szuszi is a very nice moggy, he adores being patted though he does not like being picked up. (We are working on this:-) The point is, that everything has been OK so far, and he is sending his best regards to everybody :-)
Regards,
Orfeusz with Lili, the lesser owner
Pici (Tiny)
Hi there,
We have successfully arrived at my new home. Travelling by car was a bit scary, but it was rather pleasant in the lap of my owner, being patted, billing and cooing. Having arrived at the apartment, I immediately looked for an unreachable place under the cupboard and I hid there. I was scared, unknown smells and noises, all at the same time, well, it was something! A bit later I was given delicious cat food. I ate it all and I got a second helping. My owner showed my toilet – I acknowledged. After a couple of minutes of torture (bath) I was wrapped in soft clothes, and my soft, sweet-scented fur was carefully dried. When I was dry I let everybody pat me and coo. When it was dark everywhere, I left to explore my new home. When I got tired, I also had a rest. I am still a bit reserved, but they are patient with me. Thank you for everything I received in the shelter!
Tiny
Lucky and ZazuDylan is all right, has grown a lot, his head has not tilted any more:) He is loved very much.
StaceyStacey is named Lili now, the Family preferred this name. I am sending a photo, she is a very cute cat, playful, she likes being patted, and is very peaceful, does not scratch. In the first picture she can be seen with her favorite toy, in the second one she is idling in her favorite place, in front of the fireplace.
Best regards,
Enikő
