Noé feeling
The whole thing started at the march. There is one in every year on World Animal Day. Doggies, kitties…owners for the animals. Even then I felt this strange, very good feeling. A team who has a pure heart and soul.
I watched the website, read the articles and browsed animals, and the urge grew stronger in me to be the part of this wonderful world and to visit them.
In person I soon learned that feeling what it means when girls, boys, women, men and children not regretting their free time do what has to be done (or should be done) for horses, poultry, doggies and kitties, voluntarily, happily and smiling. Many people could learn from these people how animals should be treated. The animals housed by Noé are the victim of human negligence, carelessness and selfishness. Noé attempts to heal the physical and emotional wounds of these animals.
The cat rescue girls take care for their beloved cats in turns. They visit them every day before or after work, not regretting their free time, even if its rains, hot, there is wind, snow or frost. They put fresh litter under kitties’ butts every day, food -gathered from here and there, as a donation - for the hungry little muzzles. They also treat wounds, handle medications and rush to the vet if necessary and THEY LOVE!
They do this on the site or many of them are „foster parents” who share their own homes with one, or in most cases with many kittens. :-)
There is so much smile, fun and energy comes from each velvet-pawed, but there are harder days when the little animal fights for his or her life and demands extra care and energy, not to mention the worry and the fear felt for them.
In exchange the „payment” is purring, cuddling and if you are skilful enough a kitty-kiss as a bonus which makes you forget about everything.:-))))
I only watch these women and girls yet, and I have the utmost respect for them. They often have a hard time getting and paying for all the things that must be provided to those little lives, but their love beats all odds.
I already belong to them a little. Not on the same level, but I belong to them. My heart is a kitten-heart, however my illness does not allow me to do fully what I wish I do my best to help. We need more people to help. You can do this in several ways; a little help is always welcome. It is enough to tell your friends that there still exists such thing in this word, or maybe organize fundraising or you can also visit us and look around (you will surely not want to leave anymore..:-)))
Although the greatest help is- of course upon a thoughtful and sober decision - to adopt a little life- even as foster parent and experience the above things with him or her.
