Totó and his smashed bones

This beautiful Dachshund male is called Toto. He was abandoned near a very busy road and it wasn’t long before tragedy happened. After a couple of days of waiting and wandering around a car hit him and went over him. It was a miracle that he survived. Since he was abandoned nobody rushed to his rescue and nobody took him to the vet. He just sat sadly and in pain because practically every bone in his back part of his body broke. 
Yet we can still say that he had great luck because an animal lover who heard the story went to help him straightaway so Totó is now in our care. His pelvis, both his hip and femur were broken and came off the sacrum. His tail also broke and came off the spine.
Even though these injuries Totó still stands. He wants to live and get better. He is at the right place because our miracle worker and "puzzle lover” vet Dr. Boda wilt put him back together. Although both of his sides are in terrible condition the vet will start with the side that is in worse condition and he can’t use. It looks like he already has some nerve damage. 
We believe in MIRACLES and we believe that this roughly 2 year old Dachshund male will run around happily.
Totó has a long road ahead of him. Quite a few surgeries, physiotherapy, medication therapy and other necessary treatment. Please, help us to help Totó who deserves a pain free happy life!
